There are three major promotions that sign fighter to long term contracts and show commitment to building deep divisions. UFC, Invicta FC and Bellator.

I will list fighters who are not signed to any of these three major promotions and tell you a little about them. They will be listed in the order of the highest ranked fighter first.

1. TALIA SANTOS (14-0-0)

#1 Ranked 135-pounder Taila is a 5'4 twenty-four year old fighter from Jaragua do Sul, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

Having started her career in 2013, Taila has kept very busy.

Her most notable wins have come against Gisele Moreira (7-2-0) and Rachael Cummins (3-2-0)

Taila had signed with Invicta but had visa issues and was unable to fight, hopefully she is still under contract and we can see her in the Invicta cage soon.

2. SARAH KAUFMAN (18-5-0)

#10 Ranked 135 pounder Sarah is a 5'5 thirty-two year old fighter from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

A true legend of the sport, Sarah was let go by the UFC after a loss to eventual title challenger Valentina Shevchenko. She is now 2-2 in her last four fights including a recent victory over newly UFC signed fighter Jessy Rose-Clark.

Its only a matter of time before we see Sarah where she truly belongs, back in the top promotion in the world.





3. BRENDA "BOOM BOOM" GONZALES (8-3-0)

#17 ranked 135-pounder Brenda is a 5'5 thirty-five year old fighter from Moriarty, New Mexico.

Having fought since 2011, "Boom Boom" has fought many of the best fighters in the world.

She holds victories over Sarah Alpar, Heather Bassett and Lacey Schuckman, 

It would be nice to see a true veteran of the sport rewarded with a shot in a major promotion.

4. STEPHANIE "LA TORITA" BRAGAYRAC (7-4-0)

#19 Ranked 135 pounder Stephanie is a 5'1 twenty-nine year old fighter from Asuncion, Paraguay.

Stephanie has face tough competition in her career including fights with UFC fighter Katlyn Chookagian, Invicta FC Champion Jennifer Maia and Mariana Morais.

Her most notable win came against Pamela Boveda Aguirre.]

5. MAIJU "MAKI" SUOATAMA (7-3-0)

#22 Ranked 135 pounder Maiju is a 5'5 thirty-one year old fighter from Lappeenranta, Finland.

Maiju Suoatama, formerly (Maiju Kujala) has been away from the sport for six years, what was thought to be early retirement has turned into a comeback with a recent victory over Hatice Ozyurt.

Before taking time off, "Maki" was on a two fight winning streak, which has now reached three fights.

Her most notable win came against Invicta FC fighter Celine Haga.

She has fought such names as, UFC fighters, Miesha Tate and Aisling Daly.





6. GISELE "GI" MOREIRA (7-2-0)

#24 Ranked 135 pounder Gisele is a 5'6 thirty-six year old fighter from Dourado, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

"Gi" is currently on a four fight winning streak including an impressive win over Karolline Rosa (8-1-0)

Her other notable wins have come against Priscila de Souza (12-8-0) and Ariane Lipski (10-3-0)

She has also battled with #1 Ranked 135-pounder Taila Santos and newly signed Invicta FC fighter Bianca Daimoni.





7. MAYANA KELLEN (6-0-0)

#28 Ranked 135 pounder Mayana is a fighter from Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil.

Although she only started three years ago, this undefeated prospect has kept pretty busy, it will be nice to see how well she responds when she recieves her first big test.





8. SARAH "A TRETA" FROTA (6-0-0)

#29 Ranked 135 pounder Sarah is a 5'6 thirty year old fighter originally from Goiania, Goias, Brazil now fighting out of Balneario, Santa Catarina, Brazil.

The combined record of her opponents is around 15-15 she has faced good fighters including Mayra Cantuaria and Viviane Araujo.





9. FAITH "THE IMMORTAl" VAN DUIN (6-3-0)

#31 Ranked 135 pounder Faith is a 5'10 thirty-one year old fighter from Papamoa, New Zealand.

Its been a year since Faith last fought, she had a baby. Her resume is full of UFC and Bellator fighters, lets hope to see her back on the big stage again.





10. JESSY "THE WIDOWMAKER" MIELE (6-3-0)

#32 Ranked 135 pounder Jessy is a 5'7 thirty-two year old fighter from Waterbury, Connecticut.

Jessy is undefeated at 135-pounds, she holds victories over Calie Cutler, Lissett Neri and Cassie Crisano.

#33 Ranked 135 pounder Lissette is a 5'2 thirty year old fighter from Rosemead, California.

Lissette has fought tough fighters and has proven she is a prospect in this division.

12. LIANA "MGELI" JOJUA (6-2-0)

#35 Ranked 135 pounder Liana is a 5'4 twenty year old fighter from Tbilisi, Georgia.

She is currently on a three fight winning streak.

She is also a model.





13. JULIANA VELASQUEZ (5-0-0)

#36 Ranked 135 pounder Juliana is a 5'6 thirty-one year old fighter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

She holds victories over some very experienced fighters including, Elaine Albuquerque, Rosy Duarte, Talita de Oliveira and Priscila de Souza. The combined record of her opponents (37-25-1)

Juliana is definitely ready for the next level in competition.

14. EEVA SIISKONEN (5-4-2)

#38 Ranked 135 pounder Eeva is a 5'6 thirty-five year old fighter from Imatra, Finland.

Eeva has never been one to shy away from a tough opponent, she has faced UFC fighters Lucie Pudilova and Melinda Fabian. Bellator fighter Kate Jackson. Invicta fighter Pannie Kianzad. Also top fighters Diana Belbita and Zaira Dyshekova.

15. ILARA JOANNE (5-3-0)

#40 Ranked 135 pounder Ilara is a 5'2 twenty-three year old fighter from Fortaleza, Brazil.

Ilara has won five of her last six, with the only loss coming to newly signed Invicta FC fighter Bianca Daimoni.

#3 ranked 145-pounder Jan Finney is a 5'8 thirty-seven year old fighter from Springfield, Ohio.

A true pioneer of the sport, she started back in 2004. Her early career included a trilogy with former UFC fighter Julie Kedzie. She has engaged in wars with the likes of  Shayna Baszler and Miesha Tate.

During her time in Strikeforce she faced both Liz Carmouche and Cyborg Justino. She fights nothing but the best including Holly Holm and Valentina Shevchenko.

She is currently on a three fight winning streak and has an upcoming fight against talented Invicta FC title contender Pam Sorensen, hopefully a win gets her into one of the three major promotions, she definitely has paid her dues.

2. REINA "KING" MIURA (7-0-0)

#10 Ranked 145+ pounder Reina Miura is a 5'3 twenty-one year old fighter from Tokyo, Japan.

She last weighed in at 165-pounds but she has dropped down as low as 120-pounds in the past.

King Reina Has been unstoppable in Japan, where she has fought all of her fights. Her most impressive win came against former UFC fighter Shayna Baszler.

Lets hope we get to see this rising star in one of the big three promotions very soon.





3. LATOYA "BLACK MAMBA" WALKER (5-1-0)

#15 ranked 145-pounder Latoya is a 5'5 thirty year old fighter from Austin, Texas.

She has fought for Invicta Fc in the past. She holds victories over Bellator and Invicta Fc veterans Gabrielle Holloway and Peggy Morgan.




4. MARTYNA CZECH  (3-0-1)

#17 ranked 145-pounder Martyna is a 5'10 fighter from Tychy, Poland.

An undefeated fighter who has yet to be tested, besides her impressive pro debut win against Izabela Badurek. In a division looking for new talent, she seems to be a sure bet.

5. BOBBI JO DALZIEL (3-0-0)

#19 Ranked 145+ pounder Bobbi Jo is a 6'0 thirty-one fighter from Ontario, British Columbia, Canada.

Having never made 145-pounds, I still included  Bobbi because of my hopefulness to one day see this talented canadian face top competition, not that she hasn't already impressed with the caliber of her victories including former Bellator fighters Andria Wawro, and Jozette Cotton.

Even if at 155-pounds lets hope to see Bobbi Jo real soon on a T.V. screen.

6. SARAH "PRIMAL" PATTERSON (5-3-0)

#21 ranked 145+ pounder Sarah is a 5'11 thirty-three year old fighter from Burlington, Iowa.

Another fighter who has never fought below 155-pound Sarah holds victories over top ranked fighters Kilistina Makihele and Tamikka Brents.

She first began her career in 2002, with over 15 years in the game, it would be nice to see her get a shot in the big show.

7. YEKATERINA MAKAROVA (3-0-0)

#22 Ranked 145-pounder Yekaterina is a 5'4 fighter from Moscow, Russia.

She has fought as low as 120-pounds.

She is young in her career, but she is surley someone to keep an eye on.





8. JESSICA BAYBADO (2-0-0)

#23 Ranked 145-pounder Jessica is a twenty-four year old fighter from Wasilla, Alaska.

She has won both of her wins by finish, one by submission and one by knockout.





9. JAMILA SANDORA (2-0-0)

#24 Ranked 145-pounder Jamila is a 5'8 thirty-five year old fighter from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

She is also a model and a ring card girl.

Both of her wins have come by TKO.





10. SVETLANA KHAUTOVA (2-0-0)

#25 ranked 145+ pounder Svetlana is a 5'8 fighter from Russia.

She fights in the Fight Nights Global promotion and has never fought below 155-pounds.
